Instintivamente los animales al percibir su muerte hacen su camino hacia un lugar alejado, escondido, aislado... es contra natural su muerte en campo abierto, (calles, carreteras, zonas deforestadas, etc.) En el caso de lo elefantes; si uno llega a morir de imprevisto, el resto de la manada transporta el cadáver de un lugar a otro hasta encontrar un lugar adecuado.

Fuera de las zonas urbanas y sus animales domésticos esta circunstancia "muerte en campo abierto" es una de las varias consecuencias de la interacción del humano con la naturaleza. Esta interacción es intrínseca de nuestra existencia. Parte de nuestra esencia llena de confrontación y tensión constante a veces es la naturaleza que sobrepasa al hombre, lo que nos hace conscientes de que todo lo que nos rodea y donde habitamos es una entidad viva. La obra busca retratar diferentes situaciones de este constante intercambio, convivencia, sublimación, artificialidad, domesticación, observación y miedo de la relación hombre-naturaleza.

Instinctively, when an animal readies itself for death, it makes its way toward a secluded, hidden place. It is unnatural for an animal to die in the open (streets, highways, deforested areas, etc.). In the case of the elephant, if one is to suddenly die, the rest of the herd will carry its corpse from one place to another until they find an inexplicably suitable place.

Apart from urbanized areas and their domestic animals, this circumstance of "death in the open" is one of the many consequences of human interaction with nature. It is intrinsic to co-existence. While part of the human essence is full of confrontation and constant tension, sometimes it is nature that overtakes man, thus making man conscious that everything that surrounds him is a living entity.

Musi's work aims to portray different situations that arise as a result of this ongoing exchange, cohabitation, sublimation, artificiality, domestication, observation, and fear within the human-nature relationship.

Mummy Dearest explora la relación madre e hija, cuestionando el impulso narcisista por propagar la materia genética de uno y el instinto femenino por intentar entenderse a través de la figura materna.

En esta serie de fotografías, Marion Sosa sacrifica su propia identidad y la rindo ante la obligación de ser alguien quien no es. A través de esta reflexión, ella cuestiona su individualidad, identidad, y sanidad al convertirse en lo que su familia espera de ella; ser exactamente igual que su madre.

Mummy Dearest explores mother-daughter relationships by questioning the narcissistic impulse to propagate one's genetic material and the female instinct to attempt to understand herself through the maternal example.

In this series of photographs, Marion Sosa sacrifices her real self and surrenders to the obligation to be someone she is not. In doing so, she must question her own individuality, identity, and sanity by becoming the expectation that her family always had of her: to be just like her mother.
