Morgan y Peter son dos pintores americanos de 23 y 24 años respectivamente, en algún momento basados en San Francisco. Sus pinturas entran en dialogo acompañadas de una instalación en colaboración de sitio especifico para Yautepec.

Desapegados y conscientes de imágenes e ideales que inevitablemente les son impuestos culturalmente, comentan sobre esto desde una sensibilidad muy aguda e instintiva. Las imágenes vienen de un inconsciente profundo, al igual que de lo inmediato (publicidad, revistas, TV, etc.) aludiendo a el sueno americano… tirado por la ventana, deconstrucción de narrativas sin principio ni fin llenas de tonos siniestros y sexuales acentuados por una constante pausa.

Morgan and Peter are two American painters -- 23 and 24 years-old respectively -- both based at some moment in San Francisco. Their paintings will be placed in dialogue with one another and accompanied by a collaborative, site-specific installation for Yautepec.

Detached from and conscious of images and ideals that inevitably have been imposed upon them culturally, their work comments on this from an acute and instinctive sensibility. The images arise from the deep unconscious, as well as the immediate (advertising, magazines, TV, etc), alluding to the American Dream... yet thrown out the window: a deconstruction of narratives without beginning or end, full of sinister and sexual tones, accentuated by a constant pause.
